About this role
Role Overview
Support the development and deployment of AI-powered applications, tools, and workflows across internal initiatives.
Implement application components and services based on system architectures and technical specifications provided by the AI Solutions & Implementation Specialist.
Develop and maintain Python-based services, APIs, and backend components used in AI-enabled systems.
Integrate AI tools and services with platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Smartsheet, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems.
Work with AI coding assistants and development tools, including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, to accelerate development and experimentation.
Assist in building and testing AI agents and agentic workflows, supporting automation and intelligent system behavior.
Design and refine prompts and prompt engineering workflows for LLM-based applications.
Troubleshoot system issues including API errors, integration failures, and service reliability problems, and identify appropriate solutions.
Interpret API responses, HTTP error codes, and service logs to diagnose and resolve system issues.
Support containerized deployments and cloud-hosted services in Azure environments where applicable.
Assist with the development of data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines used by AI-driven systems.
Participate in system testing, beta testing, and quality assurance, ensuring reliability, performance, and usability of deployed solutions.
Contribute to technical documentation, reusable code modules, and internal development standards.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in software development, automation, or AI-related technical roles.
Experience developing applications or services using Python or similar programming languages.
Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar coding assistants.
Understanding prompt engineering principles for working with large language models.
Familiarity with agentic concepts and AI-driven workflows, including task automation or agent-based systems.
Basic understanding of system design principles including modular architecture, service interactions, and scalability considerations.
Experience integrating with APIs and external services, including handling API authentication, responses, and error management.
Ability to debug issues using logs, API responses, and error codes.
Experience participating in software testing processes, including functional testing, beta testing, and quality validation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement solutions from architectural guidance.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
