Provide overall direction and oversight of plant operations, including production, inventory management, shipping, and receiving
Lead, coach, and develop a workforce of approximately 100 employees and supervisors to achieve safety, quality, cost, and productivity objectives
Ensure maximum equipment availability through comprehensive preventive maintenance programs and prompt corrective actions
Manage operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and drive profitability through effective P&L management
Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve operational excellence
Collaborate with Safety, Human Resources, and senior leadership to maintain compliance, promote employee engagement, and strengthen organizational culture
Oversee and take part in staffing activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives
Cultivate and sustain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, reliability, and superior service quality
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing or operations management
Proven success in managing large hourly workforces, leading safety initiatives, and delivering strong P&L performance
Advanced knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications
