About this role
Role Overview
Prepare and review cable routing plans and specifications within a BIM environment for the following systems: 25 kV power distribution, telecommunications, railway signaling, and traffic signal systems.
Manage full design development from preliminary concepts and calculations: determining conduit diameters, locating cable trenches, and analyzing cable routes with respect to obstacles and multidisciplinary constraints (drainage, rail, civil engineering, architecture, etc.).
Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
Take technical responsibility and coordinate the project team for cable routing design.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Minimum 10–15 years of design experience
Railway-sector experience (an asset)
Self-starter with energy and an innovative mindset
Functional bilingualism (French/English)
Practical knowledge of CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D (an asset)
