Role Overview
Lead video filming efforts including camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and composition to create visually compelling, brand-aligned content.
Collaborate closely with production manager, creative directors, writers, editors, designers, and marketing partners to bring ideas to life through dynamic visual storytelling.
Contribute to concept development, helping shape narratives and visual approaches that strengthen and evolve Empower’s brand presence.
Execute video shoots with a strong eye for cinematic quality, pacing, and emotional impact.
Edit video content from rough cut through final delivery, including sound design, color correction, pacing refinement, and finishing.
Integrate motion graphic elements, text animation, and visual effects to enhance storytelling (advanced animation skills preferred but not required).
Create engaging, high-production-value content for campaigns, brand initiatives, product marketing, content marketing, and internal communications.
Bring fresh ideas, new visual techniques, and innovative production approaches that continuously elevate creative output.
Provide technical expertise on shooting styles, framing, lighting design, and set design.
In depth experience facilitating live and remote feeds for on-air or pre-recorded segments.
Advanced experience in composting shots live and in post
production with optimizing lighting and camera techniques.
Thorough knowledge of color profiles and current standards, and experience with color grading.
Solid working knowledge of sound standards and techniques used in live and postproduction environments.
Maintain organized workflows and production processes to ensure efficiency and scalability, with exception attention to detail.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative standards and meeting deadlines.
Stay current on emerging video trends, technologies, and storytelling formats, applying insights to keep Empower’s content modern and competitive.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field preferred
5–7 years of professional experience in video production and editing, either in-house or at an agency
Strong hands-on production expertise including camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and visual composition
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects required
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and professional production workflows
Demonstrated ability to take video projects from concept through final delivery
Strong storytelling instincts with an eye for visual detail, pacing, and brand alignment
Motion graphics experience preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work on deadline
Strong portfolio showcasing both production and post-production capabilities required.
