Lead, manage, and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance team performance and productivity.
Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
Assist Director of Accounting in review and analysis of various Balance Sheet accounts and perform account reconciliations during month end and year-end closes.
Perform detailed review and analysis of payroll accounts as part of month-end close.
Demonstrate understanding and proficiency in revenue recognition principles and revenue integrity to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Work closely with the Director of Accounting to maintain and enhance the revenue and accounts receivable lookback analysis.
Provide input and oversight of critical accounting policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Director of Accounting with the annual financial statement audit, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of audit requirements and supporting documentation.
Assist with accounting for Acquisitions to ensure accurate reporting of revenue and expenses.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax fillings, as well as various other tax compliance requirements.
Prepare monthly and/or quarterly compliance reporting and aid in analysis if required.
Engage in special projects or other duties assigned by the supervisor to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a healthcare or related industry setting required.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across different levels of the organization.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance.
