General proofing of copy and art, which includes but is not limited to: Spelling, Punctuation, Grammar, Client and brand standards, Fact-checking, Print specifications.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and leadership to meet schedule commitments.
Match printed layouts and mockups to ensure mail kits and versioning match strategy and reflect client expectations and approved templates.
Ensure that all necessary data fields are produced accurately and match internal database information.
Review personalization proofs against client-approved art and production data files to ensure accurate output.
Compare insertion samples to client-approved mockup and internal data system to ensure correct components are inserted and the correct postage has been used.
Requirements
An associate degree or related experience working in editing/proofreading, direct mail, or marketing is preferred.
Experience with non-profit organizations and/or direct response marketing agencies is preferred, but training is provided as needed.
Proficient in Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
Ability to take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
