Gain hands-on experience building connected hardware products in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Support the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems that power Flock’s IoT devices.
Assist with circuit and PCB design, performing engineering analysis such as power budgets and signal integrity.
Support prototype bring-up and debugging, and participate in testing and validation of production hardware.
Experience the full hardware development lifecycle, from component selection and schematic documentation to system-level troubleshooting and new product development discussions.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, digital/analog electronics, and signal processing.
Familiarity with PCB design and schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD).
Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or IoT devices is a plus.
Experience with soldering, PCB rework, or hardware prototyping is a plus.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to get hands-on with hardware.
