Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with local accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and ensure timely settlements.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Manage payroll and related statutory obligations.
Oversee and execute payments for e-commerce transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Provide ad hoc financial support to management when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in Cyprus
Strong knowledge of Cypriot tax and VAT legislation
Experience in e-commerce payments or online transaction processing
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Navision, QuickBooks, Xero)
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Docs
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English (Greek will be considered an advantage).
