Monitor, assess, and enforce contractual compliance by EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers throughout project execution.
Draft clear, well-structured, and strategically positioned contractual notices and formal communications to protect the Company’s rights and entitlements.
Provide continuous guidance to the Construction team on contractual interpretation, risk allocation, claims strategy, delay and variation mechanisms, and enforcement of remedies under EPC and FIDIC-based contracts.
Identify early any deviations, risks, or potential claims, and propose practical and commercially aligned mitigation measures.
Support the Legal Department in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, amendments, and project-specific terms when required.
Maintain comprehensive and organised contractual records, correspondence logs, and change-management documentation.
Contribute to the development of internal best-practice guides, training materials, and contractual management processes.
Collaborate effectively across functions—Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, and Development—to ensure consistent decision-making and alignment with contractual obligations.
Requirements
University degree in Law; contract management qualification preferred.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in contract management for renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge of EPC contracts and FIDIC forms (notably Silver and Yellow Book structures).
Hands-on experience managing contract execution, including notices, claims, variations, delays, and risk-management strategies.
Excellent drafting skills with the ability to prepare precise, assertive, and professionally articulated communications.
Ability to understand complex technical, commercial, and legal issues and translate them into clear, actionable advice.
