Check, verify and acquire written approval from the customer for BOM (bill of material).
Register and maintain component information in CIS (component information system) and ERP systems by following standard rules; create cross-references between the customer and Kitron item number; prepare a component list and upload it into ERP.
Handle PCN (Product Change Notification) and LTB (Last time buy/obsolete).
Handle BOM changes and revisions in the ERP system (ECO
engineering change order).
Suggest replacements for currently used components and if required initiate the tests for alternatives.
Convey life cycle analysis (LCA) for BOM.
Participate in projects across the organization and perform other relevant tasks delegated by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master’s degree in electronics engineering.
Good knowledge of components, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.
Work experience in the EMS industry is an advantage.
Fluent written and spoken English and Lithuanian.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Strong time management skills and ability to work with challenging deadlines.
