About this role
Role Overview
- Maintain and develop our production networks and related services (tooling, observability, capacity)
- Handle daily operational tasks (change management, incident management) together with the rest of the operations team and our partners, keeping our infrastructure running 24/7
- Help our customer support and the rest of the company by handling technical questions
Requirements
- Strong expertise in general networking fundamentals
- Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills needed in BGP, SDN, OSPF, IPv4/IPv6, MP-BGP, EVPN, VXLAN environments
- Working knowledge of the network services required by a network to function and be manageable, such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, RADIUS, and SNMP
- Ability to handle multi-vendor products and environments
- Good awareness of building repeatable solutions (ideally scripting and automation using Python)
- Linux understanding is highly preferred
- Good documentation skills
