About this role
Role Overview
- Reporting to the Director of Engineering
- Design components of the data infrastructure
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Work on the performance and stability of the system
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Java/Scala/Kotlin
- Familiarity with Kotlin or willingness to learn
- Industrial experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Knowledge of common data products such as Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, PostgreSQL, S3, etc.
- Problem solving/troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
