About this role
Role Overview
- Take a leading role in scaling Gimi’s open banking platform
- Be the first member of the Banking Team, setting the technical foundation for a function that will grow with you
- Design, develop, and maintain new API integrations with open banking and financial partners
- Drive the evolution of our platform by implementing robust observability and resiliency strategies
- Proactively improve the stability, performance, and success rate of existing bank connections
- Collaborate closely with the product team and external partners to deliver new and enhanced features
- Design and implement integrations beyond open banking, including future deep integrations with other external systems
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development
- Proven professional experience working with financial systems or in FinTech
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework
- Hands-on experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Excellent communication skills in English
