About this role
Role Overview
- Work with an international team aimed towards reaching record-setting uptimes.
- Learn the ins and outs of both Linux and Windows.
- Be the first responder to all incidents and provide solutions for them.
- Investigate complex problems and apply permanent solutions.
- Work with a variety of server applications and software products (Apache, NGINX, MySQL, HAProxy, Veeam, VMware's virtualization suite)
- Get familiar with our cloud infrastructure.
- Keep all systems updated and perform regular maintenances.
- Work on a flexible day/night shift schedule.
Requirements
- Any experience with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Windows Server
- Any experience with Apache, MySQL, NGINX, Varnish, Microsoft IIS
- Basic networking knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures, recognize opportunities for improvements and execute them while coordinating your actions with the different departments.
- Ability to quickly pick up new skills and constantly be in the loop in a dynamic environment while working on day and/or night shifts.
- Advanced English is a must.
