Role Overview
- Define and lead the technical strategy for the platform
- Set the engineering vision and execution model
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Solutions, and Customer Success teams
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering organisation
- Drive engineering processes and standards for predictable delivery
- Ensure system performance, uptime, and security meet enterprise expectations
- Represent engineering in cross-functional company planning forums
- Foster a culture of psychological safety and accountability
Requirements
- Significant engineering leadership experience
- Experience designing and scaling complex platforms
- Experience in data-intensive or AI-enabled environments
- Ability to balance feature velocity with architectural quality
- Experience building and scaling engineering teams (ideally 30+ engineers)
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments (startups or scale-ups)
