Senior Insight Analyst

Role Overview

• Partner with Account Managers and New Business teams to validate data capability during pre-sales and early delivery conversations.
• Ask informed questions around data ingestion, coverage, structure, and limitations to reduce downstream risk.
• Support existing client projects by analysing how RealityMine data is being used and whether it is delivering measurable ROI.
• Identify opportunities where clients could extract more value from the data and support Account Managers with evidence-based recommendations.
• Support pitches, renewals, and upsell conversations with confidence-checked analysis, grounded in what the data genuinely shows.
• Act as a trusted point of reference on what the data does — and does not — support.
• Own the initial review of Jira Service Desk tickets relating to data drops, anomalies, and client-reported issues.
• Validate whether reported issues represent genuine data problems, configuration misunderstandings, or isolated edge cases.
• Assess scope and severity, including whether issues indicate wider platform or client impact.
• Work closely with Engineering teams, who own investigation and resolution, providing clear analytical context to support fixes.
• Act as a post-resolution validation checkpoint, analysing data to confirm issues are fully resolved.
• Act as a post-deploy validation checkpoint, ensuring new functionality is collecting the correct level, structure, and quality of data.
• Help improve internal ways of working around data validation, assurance, and commercial confidence.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior Insight Analyst, BI Analyst, or Analytics Specialist.
• Excellent SQL skills for querying, validating, and interrogating large datasets.
• Experience supporting client or commercial conversations with data.
• Confidence navigating ambiguity and translating data complexity into clear guidance.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Account Managers, Client Ops, and technical teams.
• A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset.
• Nice to have: Experience with Jira or service desk workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS data services and BI tools such as QuickSight.
• Exposure to behavioural, event-level, or digital analytics data.
