Role Overview
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with reporting standards (local GAAP).
- Oversee accurate and on-time accounting operations, including revenue, rent, and expense entries.
- Prepare and submit statutory financial information, such as VAT and income tax declarations, annual reports, and OmaVero filings.
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and support in tax-related documentation.
- Lead and participate in finance-related investigations and improvement projects.
- Contribute to the development of accounting competence and process efficiency within Aimo Park.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with solid and broad expertise in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Finnish accounting regulations, internal controls, tax, and VAT.
- Experience working with large ERP systems and high‑transaction environments; previous experience with NetSuite is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and good knowledge of various financial systems.
- Proven ability to lead and support change processes, including efficiency and automation initiatives.
- Ability to balance detailed analytical work with a holistic, strategic perspective.
- Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is considered an advantage.
