Define and drive the global design strategy, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact across all brand and marketing touchpoints, from digital and print through to environmental and experiential design.
Lead the evolution of design systems
creating scalable, accessible, and localisation-ready templates for presentations, campaigns, social content, documents, and events.
Take ownership of the AI roadmap for brand design, identifying high-value use cases and running focused pilots across ideation, content variation, localisation, and quality assurance.
Establish brand-safe AI foundations that accelerate creative output while protecting visual identity and standards.
Set and enforce creative direction across typography, imagery, motion, layout, and art direction.
Use insights, performance data, and feedback loops to continuously test and optimise creative effectiveness against measurable outcomes.
Own end-to-end design delivery, scaling output through strong DesignOps practices, modular production, automation, and effective agency and vendor management.
Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver cohesive design outcomes, while coaching teams and raising overall design maturity.
Requirements
Strong experience in brand design, creative direction, or design leadership, ideally within global, multi-channel environments.
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Proven track record of elevating brand quality while building scalable systems such as templates, components, and guidelines.
Strong portfolio that demonstrates both high-craft visual execution and the ability to think systematically about design at scale.
Familiar with generative AI and automation within creative workflows and approach these tools with a responsible, quality-first mindset.
Highly proficient in modern design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Canva.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, present ideas clearly, and lead collaborative critique.
Well organised, with strong operational discipline across planning, prioritisation, and delivery, including experience working with external agencies and vendors.
A background or exposure to supply chain, traceability, or sustainability sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
