Lead the sourcing process for assigned spend categories and assist the Category Manager with developing the overall sourcing strategy and opportunity assessment.
Drive organizational sourcing strategies through tactical and innovative sourcing programs; adapt to changing market conditions, support new business opportunities, and deliver on cost reduction strategies.
Develop eRFx and negotiation strategies to deliver optimal cost value and supply assurance.
Identify and manage procurement risks to minimize negative impacts on organizational objectives while encouraging opportunities and innovations.
Apply industry specific research to ensure the sourcing approach identifies risks and insights are leveraged to drive value.
Apply deep supply market intelligence, vendor performance scorecards, and cost benchmarking to manage price fluctuations and continually improve results and control of spend.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to provide strategic insights, resolve complex issues, and deliver high performance cost, service, and quality outcomes.
Assist with creating or amending department policies and processes.
Monitor enterprise resource planning systems to ensure purchasing processes and order acceptances are successful.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Concentration in Engineering, Business, or Supply Management preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive sourcing or procurement experience on a supply chain or strategic sourcing team required.
Knowledge of and practical experience with strategic sourcing concepts and leading practices, including:
Market analysis and benchmarking.
Contractual negotiation and contract management process and insight.
Supplier performance management.
Supplier risk analysis.
Oracle management tools.
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, required. Oracle Supply Chain module experience preferred.
Professional certifications (Certified Public Manager, Certified Professional in Supply Management, Certified in Production and Inventory Management) preferred.
Approximately 5% travel may be required to support the position's responsibilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
