Role Overview
- Conceptualize and edit primarily short, vertical, high-impact videos for Instagram and TikTok using agency or client assets.
- Create social-first formats aligned with current trends, effects, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
- Produce motion design elements: typographic animation, visual effects, and seamless transitions.
- Contribute to the artistic and narrative direction of videos: storytelling, music selection, pacing, and visual/emotional hooks.
- Contribute to end-to-end post-production: editing, sound design, color grading, etc.
- Proactively propose new formats, trends, and techniques to fuel the agency's creativity.
Requirements
- Significant experience in social media editing (3+ years) in an agency, brand, or as a content creator.
- Portfolio/showreel demonstrating a solid understanding of Instagram and TikTok visual and narrative codes.
- Excellent command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve (color grading), or equivalent.
- Strong musical and rhythmic sensitivity, fluid storytelling, and a keen sense of tempo.
- Curiosity for new social aesthetics, video trends, and emerging AI tools.
- Strong visual culture: fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, and pop culture.
- Organized, autonomous, and able to juggle multiple productions without compromising creative quality.
