Deliver training sessions both internally to team members and externally to clients on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation technologies
Handling customer requests from the support portal
Assisting client to adapt models and perform HIL test on site (up to 20% of work time)
Support the development and continuous improvement of training materials and programs related to power systems, control systems, and real-time simulation
Write technical reports, knowledge base and application notes, etc.
Participate in marketing events and technical seminars
Participate in overseas product roll-outs
Perform product demonstrations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics or mechanical engineering
0 to 2 years in a related field
Technical knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and/or LabVIEW
Basic knowledge of NI Toolchains, Linux operating systems, FPGA and VHDL programming, Industrial and communication protocols (i.e. CAN, Modbus, SPI, Aurora) (asset)
Significant assets: Hardware-in-the-loop tools (RT-LAB, NI-Veristand, HYPERSIM, dSPACE, Speedgoat, Typhoon, or RTDS), Industrial HIL testing experience for a full electric vehicle, Simulation of power electronic converters, Usage of Xilinx System Generator
Language abilities: Mandarin and English required, Japanese or Korean is an asset
