Thornley Corporate Solutions is seeking an Associate Account Manager / Application Engineer to support a major GM account. This role involves a blend of account management and application engineering, with a focus on customer interaction and technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Support a major GM account as an Associate Account Manager / Application Engineer
- Spend roughly 70 to 75% of your time on account management and commercial work
- Spend roughly 25 to 30% of your time on application engineering and technical support
- Interpret engineering prints and 3D models and support technical discussions with GM engineers
- Partner with senior sales/account leadership on:
- Account strategy
- Quoting support
- Day-to-day customer issues and internal coordination
Requirements:
- Around 2 to 4 years of experience (roughly 3 years is ideal)
- Experience in application engineering, product engineering, technical account support
- Or early-career account management with strong technical aptitude
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings and working with 3D models
- Motivated to grow into full account manager responsibilities over time
