Role Overview
- Develop and scale backend services in Golang for progression-related features (Battle Pass, Quests, Leaderboards)
- Manage high-traffic systems handling player inventories and in-game transactions
- Collaborate with game designers to translate gameplay mechanics into robust backend logic
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure using a modern DevOps stack
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems, with a deep mastery of Golang
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure: Specifically GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Experience with high-performance databases (exposure to Google Spanner is a major plus)
