Implement and maintain the IT asset inventory, performing automatic and manual discovery of software and hardware to ensure full visibility of assets in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Manage and optimize software licenses (perpetual, subscription, SaaS), perform reconciliations between entitlements, deployments and consumption, and identify compliance risks and cost optimization opportunities.
Configure and operate ITAM/Software Asset Management tools (for example, Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow Software or equivalents), automating discovery, normalization and reporting processes.
Define and enforce asset and licensing management policies and processes, including provisioning, decommissioning, renewals and contract management workflows.
Prepare and support software audits, produce compliance evidence, handle audit requests and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Produce dashboards and regular reports on license usage, costs, compliance risks and savings opportunities, collaborating with the FinOps team for financial alignment.
Work with procurement, security, infrastructure and finance teams; conduct training and awareness sessions on software usage and management best practices.
Identify and propose operational and technological improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and minimize licensing-related risks.

Proven experience (preferably 2+ years) in IT Asset Management or Software Asset Management, including license management.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow SAM or equivalents — including configuration, discovery, reconciliations and reporting.
Strong knowledge of licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, SaaS) and methods for accounting entitlements and consumption.
Analytical skills to reconcile inventory, contract and billing data; experience with SQL and ETL tools is a plus.
Understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and licensing challenges related to instances, subscriptions and SaaS.
Experience supporting software audits and preparing technical documentation and evidence.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact with technical and financial stakeholders.
Portuguese: native or fluent.
English: professional level (valued).
Relevant certifications in ITAM/SAM or in the mentioned tools are valued (for example, Flexera Certified, ServiceNow SAM).
Prior experience in FinOps teams or at the interface between IT and Finance is a plus.
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and asset management best practices.
Experience in international projects and multicultural environments.
