Lead end-to-end recruitment for key high-level leadership roles
Assess candidate qualifications, leadership capabilities, relatable experience, and cultural alignment
Conduct proactive sourcing, network with passive talent
Facilitate interview processes, assess candidates through structured methods
Coordinate with stakeholders for a smooth onboarding experience
Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of identified key roles for future organizational needs
Foster ongoing relationships with identified talent
Partner with appropriate stakeholders to develop recruitment strategies
Define candidate success profiles and capture long-term capability requirements
Maintain strong communication, reporting and search progress updates for hiring managers and other applicable stakeholders
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives on talent market insights, competitive intelligence, industry demands, compensation trends and talent strategies
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the recruitment process
Propose, design and implement identified tools or process changes
Analyze metrics related to hiring effectiveness
Propose and implement solutions to improve success metrics in partnership with appropriate stakeholders
Assist with and/or lead various talent acquisition projects and initiatives
Utilize various tools/resources to identify qualified active and passive candidates
Serve as a professional representative of The Weitz Company, LLC and its affiliates
Requirements
10+ years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition
5+ years being focused on executive or senior-level recruitment
Degree required – an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Experience conducting high-level recruitment searches including but not limited to; proactive sourcing, networking with passive talent, and building talent pipelines
Proven success conducting complex recruitment for a construction management firm
Strong understanding of construction roles and general field operations is strongly preferred
Lean principles experience is desirable
OSHA 30 preferred, or the willingness to obtain upon hire
Strong ability to build positive relationships and connect with others
Ability to uphold and maintain confidentiality
Business acumen, strong judgement and decision-making abilities
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and influence executive-level hiring decisions
Excellent interviewing and candidate sourcing skills
Ability to provide excellent candidate experience
Ability to identify, attract, and evaluate quality candidates
High level of initiative, drive, and professionalism
Flexible and able to pivot to support evolving business needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
Desire to work in a collaborative, supportive, team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate sourcing tools
Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
