Support VDC and project teams with field technology and digital workflows
Help connect jobsite needs with VDC tools, processes, and capabilities
Deploy, operate, and support field technology, including: Reality capture tools (LiDAR scanning, 360° photography), Drone data collection and platform support (as applicable and under supervision), Robotic layout tools and other emerging field technologies
Process, organize, and manage field‑collected data such as scans, photos, and models
Help maintain a reliable single source of truth for field and as‑built information
Participate in project‑specific safety processes and support the use of technology that enhances jobsite safety
Assist project teams with: Site logistics visuals, Model‑based coordination support, Verification of existing and installed conditions
Work closely with VDC Engineers and Managers to: Identify field challenges that could benefit from technology, Implement repeatable, scalable solutions across projects
Support equipment management, including: Preparing, shipping, and receiving field technology kits, Basic troubleshooting and coordination with IT/VDC leadership
Contribute to training and documentation efforts, including: Creating field guides, checklists, and best practices, Assisting with internal training sessions and onboarding
Provide remote and in‑person support for field technology deployments
Maintain strong communication with project teams and be comfortable working on active jobsites
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
2-5 years in construction technology VDC, surveying, reality capture, or related field experience preferred
Construction or VDC Industry-related bachelor’s degree preferred equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
OSHA 30 preferred
FAA Part 107 preferred prior to hire required for any UAS operations support provided to obtain after start
Experience working on data center projects highly desired
Electrical background required
Ability to read/interpret construction documents
Knowledge of construction methods and materials
Excellent project organizational skills
Impressive leadership skills with the desire to teach, mentor, and develop a team
Business acumen and relationship building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office ability to learn discipline-specific software and field data platforms
Exposure and/or basic familiarity with reality capture platforms
Project management and VDC software preferred e.g. Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Suite including Revit, Navisworks, Civil3D, AutoCAD; Revizto, Adobe Creative Cloud
