Role Overview
- Lead all Italian VAT (IVA) advisory and compliance services
- Oversee: Domestic and cross-border VAT compliance OSS/IOSS schemes EU distance selling rules Import VAT and customs interaction E-invoicing (Fatturazione Elettronica) compliance
- Advise on supply chain structuring and VAT optimisation
- Manage VAT audits and disputes with the Agenzia delle Entrate
- Monitor Italian and EU legislative developments impacting indirect tax
Requirements
- Qualified Dottore Commercialista
- 8–12+ years of experience in Italian VAT / indirect tax
- Strong knowledge of EU VAT Directive and cross-border trade
- Experience handling VAT audits and complex advisory cases
- Fluent Italian and English
