Accounting Analyst – Senior

Role Overview

• Execute accounting close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and the integrity of accounting information;
• Prepare Financial Statements (Balance Sheet
• BP, Income Statement
• DRE, Cash Flow Statement
• DFC, Statement of Changes in Equity
• DMPL) and Explanatory Notes;
• Generate, validate and submit CADOCs to the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) (4010, 4111, 3040, 9010, 9011 and 3044), ensuring timeliness and consistency;
• Support management in partnership with Product and Risk teams in structuring new products, defining accounting treatments, policies and measurement of accounting impacts;
• Act as a strategic partner to the Tech team in monitoring technology projects, designing recoverability tests (Impairment) for platforms and software, ensuring carrying values reflect the potential for future economic benefits;
• Strong technical knowledge of CMN Resolution 4.966 and BCB 352, ensuring compliance of operations;
• Perform consolidation of financial statements and equity method accounting;
• Responsible for preparing the commented P&L, interpreting variances, explaining fluctuations and ensuring correct account classification and accrual adjustments;
• Responsible for the full payroll verification, reconciliation, validation and close process (review of costs, control of provisions, vacation, 13th salary, INSS, FGTS and IRRF) and supporting the HR team in internalization and implementation;
• Prepare the semi-annual DES-IF and deliver the annual chart of accounts or as required;
• Responsible for preparing and transmitting the SPED ECD for the three subsidiaries;
• Act as focal point for external audit support;
• Support strategic analyses and participate in projects to improve and automate accounting processes;
• Act as the main technical focal point (Key User) in the implementation of the new ERP, leading the chart of accounts design, definition of business rules and the architecture/parameterization of accounting entries;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CRC (regional accounting registration);
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present results effectively;
• Advanced Excel and knowledge of Power BI;
• Knowledge of programming and database handling (SQL, Metabase, Python, Databricks);
• Experience with banking products;
• Previous experience in Payment Institutions and/or Financial Institutions;
• Knowledge of COSIF;
• Technical knowledge of CMN Resolution 4.966 and BCB 352;
• Experience with submitting CADOCs;
• Differentials: Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP and Domínio; Advanced English;
