Drive the creation, implementation, and execution of the regional business development strategy
Work closely with business units, SA, Sales management team in alignment with company growth strategies
Become and maintain the expert on specific new products or combination of products to drive sales in defined market segments
Lead in driving, coordinating, prioritizing and supporting sales opportunities
Be the main contact person/interface between the region and the line of business
Be the trusted advisor for customers building long term relationships with sales teams
Drive and support the value sell of solutions translating to real customer value
Address customer qualification and implementation issues
Train selected salespeople on selling products/technologies
Leverage sales teams to generate sales leads and expand customer base
Requirements
Engineering degree, at minimum bachelor in Chemicals, Mechanics, Electronics, Material Science or equivalent
10 years working experience of which at least 3 years in a comparable or commercial role besides 7 years of technical expertise
Proven track record of commercial successes based on deep technical/technology insights
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
