Role Overview
- Plan, conduct, and lead certification, surveillance, and recertification audits for EMS, QMS, and OHS management systems.
- Prepare audit programs, audit reports, non‑conformity reports, and follow‑up actions in line with accreditation and organizational requirements.
- Ensure audit activities are delivered in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and internal procedures.
- Communicate audit findings clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage audit timelines and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Support clients in understanding audit outcomes and opportunities for improvement (without consulting).
- Maintain professional competence in assigned schemes through continuous training and development.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review audit reports performed by other auditors and the associated corrective action plans for completeness and effectiveness.
- Verify proper classification of nonconformities and adequacy of evidence.
- Confirm scopes of certification and compliance with standards.
- Support certification decision-making with impartial, independent technical judgment.
- Ensure adherence to relevant normative documents, technical rules, and internal quality procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of auditing experience with a Certification Body for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field (or equivalent experience)
- Fluent in English; additional languages (Italian, French, German) are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
