About this role
Role Overview
Promote and sell Civix software solutions to new and existing clients.
Focus on GoElect, GoRegister, and GoEthics software solutions.
Build a pipeline, develop relationships, and drive revenue growth in the Western Region of the US.
Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
Collaborate with internal teams to align Civix solutions to business outcomes for customers.
Stay current on competitive landscape and trends.
Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting in CRM (HubSpot).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of field sales experience, with at least 3 years in government or public sector technology solutions.
Proven track record of selling software solutions to State and Local government.
Strong understanding of election processes, ethics compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to establish trust with Executive stakeholders.
Strategic thinker who can navigate complex political environments and procurement cycles.
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
