Negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements and pricing arrangements.
Conducting risk analyses.
Supplier approval and maintenance of the approved supplier list.
Implementation of cost reduction programs and benchmarking.
Market and technology analyses (market development reports), participation in trade fairs, supplier visits, and make-or-buy decisions.
Project support at defined gate points only (supplier strategy, contract approval).
Escalation level for series production purchasing.
Requirements
Degree in engineering or business administration, or a completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of purchasing experience in an industrial company
Experience in international sourcing and proven negotiation success
Strong negotiation skills and excellent conceptual and strategic thinking
High technical affinity combined with a consistently commercial mindset
Ability to work in a team and perform well under pressure
Very good command of English
Willingness to travel
Confident user of the MS Office suite and good user skills in SAP/S4
