Head of Brand Design

Role Overview

• Further development and maintenance of the Deutsche Hilfsbund's visual identity
• Ensuring consistent design quality across all channels
• Developing and maintaining design templates for presentations, pitches, campaigns, reports and digital formats
• Quality assurance of all visual materials prior to publication
• Close collaboration with Communications and Campaigns on the visual implementation of strategic content
• Establishing a simple, clearly structured design workflow for a small team
• Future development and leadership of a design team of 2–3 people
• Contributing to the development of a structured brand guidelines document
• Supporting the development of consistent employer branding in coordination with HR

Requirements

• Experience in brand design, graphic design or visual communication
• Creative and strategic understanding of brand management
• Confident user of Canva; experience with additional design tools is a plus
• Ability to establish systematic design processes, not just execute operational tasks
• Structured working style and strong quality awareness
• Self-initiative and long-term commitment
