Responsible for assisting in the effective delivery of an exceptional MBA experience for approximately 950+ Full-time, Flex, and Flex Online MBA students
Serve as academic advisors for multiple cohorts of students in each class of either the Full-time, Flex, or Flex Online MBA Program
Involved in regular communication with students regarding curriculum planning, degree progress, and academic difficulties
Responsible for outreach and problem solving for struggling students, including connecting students to tutors and assessing progress
Ensures students are aware of available resources for mental, emotional, or physical challenges
Meetings with students happen frequently, including evenings
Serve as liaison with other university offices to support students with academic or personal issues
Play an instrumental role in the co-curricular development and support of MBA students
Oversee planning, execution, and budgeting of programming that contribute to the overall student experience
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
4 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience working in student services and/or higher education
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Self-starter with sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and student-centered approach
Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets/Excel; familiarity with database software or student information systems is a plus
