About this role
Role Overview
The Sales Specialist reports to the Director of Sales, UK & Europe.
Manage and grow business with travel partners.
Utilize expertise for proactive outreach to acquire and grow business.
Develop close relationships with the trade channel to acquire new partners.
Support and achieve aggressive growth targets and identify market penetration.
Execute against plans developed by the Director.
Build sales campaigns to drive bookings and revenue.
Ensure accurate processing of sales activities in CRM and other systems.
Develop business plans, sales strategies, and budgets with trade partners.
Requirements
Post-Secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism industry (a four-year degree is preferred)
Prior sales or business development experience preferred.
Experience in relationship building through combination of in person, over the phone, and digital interactions.
Proven track record of success in achieving goals.
Experience with Microsoft Office products, Salesforce, Concur, and other systems.
Strong presentation and training skills, both in person and via webinars.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Fluency in French or German is preferred.
