Responsible for the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting activities as needed for several accounting areas
Evaluate financial data and perform different analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Responsible for the preparation of different reports for financial reporting purposes
Communicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures
Contribute to substantial improvements to processes to enhance performance within the job area
Work to achieve departmental goals and operating plans with a direct impact on departmental results
Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees
Explain, interpret, and gain cooperation on accounting policies, procedures, and practices
Solve problems through creative solutions, leveraging prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues
Strong understanding on accounting principles (GAAP) and knowledge in internal controls and related regulations (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley)

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
CPA, CFA, CPP or CMA designation is a plus
Proficiency in accounting software
