Engineering Manager – Large Mining Trucks

Role Overview

• Lead the Large Mining Truck Excellence Team, influencing both product and process throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide both technical and people leadership to a team responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of Ultra Class Large Mining Trucks.
• Drive operational excellence, aligning workflows, resources, and schedules to meet aggressive program timelines.
• Own and manage the operating budget, balancing resource planning, investments, and contractor support to maximize value.
• Monitor performance using data-driven KPIs, adjusting priorities, removing obstacles, and elevating team performance when targets are not met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Practical experience with machinery and shop environments.
• Machine testing experience collecting and analyzing data.
• Powertrain integration experience.
• Electronics system integration experience.
• Knowledge of competitive machines and power trains.
• Knowledge of the APQP process, NPI process and 6 Sigma methodologies.
