Role Overview
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to understand and assess new products and technologies
- Review engineering and design specifications for privacy-by-design requirements and legal compliance
- Analyze potential legal and safety risks and regulatory requirements for new products and technologies
- Help scale the legal organization by developing innovative processes
- Conduct trainings for engineers and other teams across the company
Requirements
- J.D. from a nationally recognized law school
- Active membership in at least one state bar
- 8+ years of experience practicing law
- Deep experience counseling clients on hardware legal issues
- Experience advising clients on domestic and global privacy issues
- Experience directly advising and working with product teams and engineers
