About this role
Role Overview
- Act as the Structural Engineer on design-management projects from the design through the construction phases.
- Produce or supervise the production of technical design studies.
- Serve as the technical and/or contractual contact with the Client (Owner).
- Make design decisions, size/dimension structural elements, and prepare written technical documentation/specifications.
- Supervise the development of BIM models.
- Analyze contractors’ bids and participate in contract award processes.
- Lead the construction supervision phase and verify the technical compliance of the works.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (engineering diploma) or Master’s degree with a specialization in structures.
- At least 10 years of substantial experience in design management (maîtrise d’œuvre) and construction supervision of structures.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, steel and timber frames, and site infrastructure (roads and utilities).
- Rigour, curiosity and an open mind.
- Professionalism, team spirit and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Graitec software.
- Fluent English.
