About this role

Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ingest and transform complex clinical data
Implement unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality, reliability, and security
Use GitHub for version control, participating in peer code reviews to learn and share knowledge
Support the automation of software workflows using modern CI/CD and SecDevOps practices

Foundational understanding of building high-performance, distributed systems running in the cloud (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS)
Professional experience or significant project work using Kotlin or Java
Experience using version control (e.g., GitHub) for collaborative development
A growth mindset and a desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Familiarity with Interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or experience with HIE integrations (preferred)
Basic understanding of event-driven architecture, Kafka, and/or MongoDB (preferred)
