About this role
Role Overview
- Design, operation and further development of Linux servers (on-premises & cloud)
- Monitoring of performance, stability and security
- Troubleshooting as well as patch and update management
- Participation in projects related to virtualization, automation, containers and cloud setups
- Automation of recurring tasks (Bash, optional Python)
- Support of logistics and e‑commerce systems
- Documentation and continuous optimization of the infrastructure
- Active knowledge sharing within the team
- Prospect: development toward project or IT lead
Requirements
- Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or comparable practical experience
- Solid knowledge of Linux administration (Oracle Linux, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
- German language skills B2–C1
- Initial experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
- Exposure to cloud environments
- Team-oriented, self-motivated and curious
- Enjoys trying new things and taking responsibility
