About this role
Role Overview
Analyse performance and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Build and develop clear, user-friendly dashboards in Power BI that colleagues can use independently.
Support the adoption of self-service reporting and help improve data literacy across teams.
Work closely with the Performance and Improvement Manager to compile reports and monitor action plans.
Carry out data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting is accurate and reliable.
Use Microsoft tools such as Excel, Lists, Forms and SharePoint to streamline data collection and improve processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement work by turning insight into practical recommendations.
Provide analytical and quality assurance support, helping build resilience across key reporting activities.
Requirements
Experience in a data analysis, performance or improvement-focused role.
Strong skills in Power BI, Excel and SQL.
Experience creating dashboards that are clear, intuitive and accessible.
Confidence explaining complex information in a simple, engaging way.
A methodical approach to data quality, accuracy and governance.
The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
A proactive mindset: someone who spots opportunities to improve processes rather than waiting to be asked.
A Level 5 qualification in a relevant area (or equivalent knowledge and experience) is desirable.
