About this role
Role Overview
On-site quality assurance: You inspect installations to ensure compliance with our standards—primarily in Central and Eastern Germany—with regular, sometimes multi-day business trips.
Measurement checks: You carry out inspections on all metrological devices: water and heat meters as well as heat cost allocators.
Accompanying installers & training: You accompany installers during installations, perform quality checks and share your expertise.
System assessment & sales support: You evaluate heating systems and boiler rooms and support our field sales team in taking over complex new installations.
Testing innovations: You test new measurement and radio technologies and develop solutions for complex systems together with the team.
Analyzing special cases: You investigate technical defects and develop sustainable solutions.
Requirements
Technical expertise: You hold a relevant master craftsman qualification (e.g., Master in Installation and Heating Technology, Master in Heating, Ventilation and Sanitary Technology, Master in Measurement Technology, Central Heating and Ventilation Master, or SHK Master) or bring at least four years of relevant professional experience.
Technical knowledge: You are familiar with heat and water meters as well as smoke detectors—both in application and installation.
Strong personality: You demonstrate initiative and assertiveness while also bringing team spirit, flexibility and a strong customer
and service-orientation.
Analytical thinking & organizational skills: You approach challenges in a structured way, find pragmatic solutions and keep an overview even for complex tasks. Planning and organization are among your strengths.
Communication & stakeholder management: You communicate clearly and purposefully—internally and externally—and enjoy working across interfaces.
Strategic and economic mindset: You have a good sense for costs, think entrepreneurially and successfully drive projects to completion.
Willingness to learn: You are open to new topics and enjoy developing further—professionally and personally.
Digitally proficient: You have a strong IT affinity, handle digital devices confidently and quickly adapt to new, including proprietary, software systems.
