Software Tester, Quality Engineer

Role Overview

• Ensure new technical developments are delivered to customers in a stable, reliable and high-quality state
• Develop effective test strategies and sustainable automation across all relevant test levels (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI and performance tests)
• Embed quality into the development process and work closely with development and business teams within an Agile Scrum team
• Create transparency around test progress, risks and quality using tools such as Azure DevOps
• Actively contribute ideas on process flows, usability and UX/UI topics

Requirements

• Experience in software quality assurance and in the structured testing of complex applications
• Practical experience in test automation, e.g. with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or comparable frameworks
• Basic understanding of programming (e.g. C#, JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, test plans and performance/load testing (e.g. k6, JMeter) is a plus
• Structured, detail-oriented and independent working style
• Strong written and spoken German and English skills
