About this role
Role Overview
You operate customized products for Campact together with the Operations team.
In the cloud and hybrid‑cloud domain, you design and develop solutions based on Linux, Kubernetes and related technologies.
You support and design the migration from an internally developed platform to Kubernetes at the requirements level.
You are part of the on‑call rota and, together with your colleagues, handle incident detection and remediation.
Requirements
Several years of experience deploying infrastructure with the orchestration platform Kubernetes or other platforms such as Docker Swarm, OpenShift, AWS Container Service (ECS) or Google Container Engine (GKE).
Experience with tools from the cloud‑native ecosystem to purposefully evolve a vanilla Kubernetes environment.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, build and configuration management, and with source code and artifact repositories.
Ideally, experience with open‑source projects and Ruby on Rails applications on a Linux stack.
You enjoy experimenting with new methods and tools in this area.
You have prepared, implemented and supported web projects in teams and have experience with Kanban or SCRUM.
You are able to understand, document and optimize complex structures.
You want to work independently and help shape processes collaboratively within the team.
You communicate clearly and respectfully in German (minimum CEFR level B2).
