Operational accounting: support for day-to-day accounting including posting transactions, document management, and account reconciliations
Participation in planning and implementing operational and strategic accounting projects
Identify areas for improvement and contribute to automation and process optimization
Support the implementation and further development of tools, interfaces, and workflows
Develop clear Excel reports and organize meetings
Requirements
Vocational training in business administration or a degree in finance/accounting — alternatively, equivalent qualification through relevant professional experience
Practical experience in bookkeeping/accounting is required
Very structured, reliable working style and a pragmatic, hands-on approach
Analytical mindset and confident handling of numbers, data, and processes
Advanced Excel skills and openness to new tools, automation, and AI-supported finance processes
Strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and enjoyment in noticeably relieving the team lead and team in day-to-day tasks
Very good written and spoken German and English
