Support for ongoing accounting (document management, invoicing, payment transactions)
Preparation and structured compilation of documents for monthly and annual financial statements (in collaboration with our tax advisor)
Monitoring and checking incoming invoices (including payment terms and discount deadlines)
Communication with external tax advisors and payroll accounting
Document management and structured filing (including contract and deadline management)
Support in optimizing and digitizing accounting processes
Ensuring smooth administrative operations in the finance area
Office management (approx. 30%)
Organizing day-to-day office operations and managing all administrative processes (including coordinating service providers, managing office supplies, mail handling)
Point of contact for administrative concerns of our employees
Supporting the organization of team events
Assisting with the setup and equipping of our new office
Requirements
First experience in accounting, administration, or office management
Confident use of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel)
Can-do attitude and the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
Responsible and solution-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset
Strong attention to detail and careful handling of data
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and prioritization abilities
Excellent communication skills in German; basic English skills are an advantage
Team player and proactive support of colleagues
Willingness to continuously develop and openness to new tools
Several years of experience in (preparatory accounting), administration, or office management (preferred)
Qualification as an office clerk, tax clerk, or comparable (preferred)
Basic knowledge of accounting and tax-related fundamentals (preparatory accounting, DATEV, Personio) (preferred)
Experience collaborating with tax advisors and payroll accounting (preferred)
