Produce geospatial content by visually interpreting available project inputs (orthophotos, façade photos, subdivision plans, etc.).
Support the project execution planning for acquisition, processing, and management of geoprocessing and quality information, performing technical data collection and analyzing required inputs based on qualitative and quantitative criteria.
Interpret documents to produce technical specifications (geographic modeling and thematic representation) for components and requirements of geoprocessing solutions.
Monitor the development of geoprocessing workflows, carrying out technical tasks to generate raster and vector products and controlling the quality of outputs to ensure results conform with project plans.
Provide input to improve the processes used to generate raster and vector products.
Communicate with clients via email at all stages of the project.
Track progress and provide project status reports.
Support the team in project execution.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartographic/Mapping Engineering, Architecture, Geoprocessing Technology, Forestry Engineering, Biology, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
Knowledge of cartography.
Basic MS Office skills.
Basic knowledge of GIS tools (QGIS, AutoCAD, etc.) and/or digital image processing software (PCI, PIX4D, etc.).
Basic knowledge of relational databases.
Basic English.
