Support the CFO in managing all finance processes, from accounting and controlling to treasury
Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial models and further develop our planning tools
Own liquidity planning and work on optimizing our working capital
Prepare investor reports, advisory board materials and grant reports, and support financing rounds and due diligence processes
Develop our internal financial systems and workflows and professionalize structures together with the team
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies
Lead and develop finance team members professionally
Work closely with Operations, Legal, People & Culture and external partners (including tax advisors and auditors)
Act as a strategic sparring partner for the CFO and independently lead projects to advance our financial strategy

Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a comparable field
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in finance, ideally in investment banking, commercial banking or in the start-up/scale-up environment
Experience collaborating with external audit or consulting firms, e.g. in audits, transactions or strategic finance matters
Strong knowledge of financial planning, controlling and cashflow management
Confident user of financial tools and ERP systems
Strong strategic thinking and a hands-on mentality
Excellent communication skills in German and English
Enjoy building structures and taking on responsibility
Experience working with investors, banks and grant providers is an advantage
