About this role
Role Overview
- Build and ship end-to-end features across the stack (React/Next.js, NestJS, Python, PostgreSQL)
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to solve real customer problems
- Own your work
- from idea to deployment and beyond
- Work on a service-oriented architecture deployed on AWS
- Bring your ideas, challenge assumptions, and shape our technical direction with the team
- (If senior) Mentor others and help us raise the engineering bar
Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in fullstack or web development in B2B SaaS
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, ideally with React and/or Next.js
- Experience building backend services in Node.js or Python
- Understanding of relational databases (we use PostgreSQL)
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Someone who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Strong communicator who enjoys working across functions and collaborating with product
- You are passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision
